If you ask me, there’s something really special about moments that bring people together — birthdays, big wins, new chapters. Growing up, those moments were never overlooked. I come from a small town in Utah, where showing up for one another was the celebration.

Whether it was a last-minute sheet cake or a tennis tournament under the sun, my parents made sure each milestone counted.

That sense of connection stuck with me.

As I got older, travel became my favorite way to mark those meaningful moments — not just for myself, but for the people around me. I found myself helping friends plan their honeymoons, milestone birthdays, and first-time adventures. I loved listening to what mattered most to them and turning that into something real — a sunset dinner in Greece, a bucket-list cruise, a family trip that felt easy and special all at once.

It wasn’t just about booking a hotel or picking dates. It was about creating the kind of memory that people would talk about for years.

That’s what inspired me to turn this passion into a profession. Get Set with Lisette came from the idea that life is short, and the best moments deserve more than a quick online search and hope for the best. I wanted to build something that helps people celebrate with intention — whether that’s sipping champagne on a river cruise, surprising a partner with a romantic weekend, or finally taking that dream trip after retirement.

Today, I work with trusted partners around the world to help travelers plan with confidence — and enjoy experiences that feel like they were made just for them. I don’t believe travel should be stressful or one-size-fits-all. I believe it should feel exciting, thoughtful, and just a little bit magical.
